Jabil Circuit to Acquire Green Point for US$913.5mln

US Jabil Circuit has announced that it will acquire Taiwanese Green Point, a maker of plastic parts for mobile phones and communication devices, with NT$30 billion (US$913.5 million; US$1=NT$32.8). Jabil Circuit will incorporate Taiwan Green Point as an independently-operating unit but have full control over the company. The acquisition is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2007.
